PRESENTER

Since 1994, Penny has dedicated her career to specialized periodontic and prosthodontic care. By 2002, she was part of the UBC dental education, supporting undergraduate and graduate future oral health practitioners. With her current UBC doctorate journey in educational leadership, she advocates for advancing best practices in scientific research, focusing on innovative, proactive methodologies for oral systemic diseases. Penny’s academic work extends to publishing in multiple peer-reviewed journals as a national and international speaker and opinion leader on various industry boards. Within the community, she’s committed to volunteering in programs that serve specialized populations, and her clinic, Elevate Oral Health and Learning Centre aims to empower professionals to improve their skills and, for the public, a patient centre that provides proactive and individualized care.
