DESCRIPTION:Sealants work and we need to do more of them. Participate in this engaging webinar to learn why we should do sealants\, how we should do them\, and how to overcome problems with sealants. Analyze the evidence on the effectiveness of dental sealants\n2. Evaluate when dental sealants are needed\n3. Assess which dental sealant material should be used in different situations\n4. Explain why dental sealants are controversial\n5. Describe different ways to isolate teeth\n6. Apply dental sealants successfully \nSPEAKER\nDr. Sanjukta “Sanj” Mohanta is a general dentist practicing in Toronto. She was an instructor at the Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene for 8 years. She graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry and received their Alumni of Influence Award. She volunteers with the Ontario Dental Association and received their Service Award. Sanj started the New Dentist Study Club and hosts their podcast. She is a writer\, speaker\, mentor\, advocate and volunteer. She volunteers with 1000 Smiles providing free dental care to people in need in the Caribbean and is part of the Seal Grenada Committee which organizes weeks to provide dental sealants.
